Is there any way to request early checkin? Or does it just depend on if they can get the room ready?

We're trying to figure out our travel plans with our 2 year old. It's best for everyone if she naps. :)

We rented points to stay at SS.

Maybe yes, maybe no. Not to be a smart tush about it but there is no way to tell. So far we haven't had any luck with early check-in at any of the DVC resorts but had we been five minutes earlier at OKW we would have (doh). It never hurts to check in as soon as you can because you can then get your KTTW cards, DDP credits (if using the DDP) and they'll give you a phone number that you can call and check in with at the resort to see if your room is ready. If you have a lot of room requests that could also affect how early you get a room.

Good luck!

I wasn't sure if there was a way to request it or maybe even pay extra for it (wishful thinking!!)

I guess we'll have to wing it and hope for the best.

If not, then my husband can deal with the cranky, sleep deprived 2 yr old. :rotfl:

Last month we got a room about 11:30, course it was way in back, last building of the Paddocks. If we wanted closer to the front, we would have had to wait.

Check in is after 4PM, so your room might not be ready until sometime after 4. Might even be as late as 5 or 6. You might be able to find a quiet place at one of the leisure pools to just lie around and rest.

You can't pay extra for special treatment.
