Can I get a rollaway bed at CR?

I have twin 16 year old nephews who absolutely will not share a bed. We will have 5 people in the room so our options would be for one of them to sleep on the floor, which they really don't mind, or to try to get a rollaway bed. Does anyone know if the CR has rollaways? Thanks!

As far as I know, no rollaways...but we have taken the handy dandy aerobed with us on several trips when we had similar arrangements....the CR rooms are quite large and there is plenty of room for the air mattress on the floor and we just slid it between the bed and the wall during the day to keep it out of the way.... shouldn't be a problem if they don't mind sleeping on the floor.

Why not think about switching your reservation to AKL deluxe and requesting bunk beds. That way you've got a seperate sleeping space for each kid.

I thought about AKL as I have stayed there before and love it, but there are a total of 5 of us so we need the two queens and daybed at the CR. Did I mention these kids are BIG! The rooms as AKL are just too small for us I think.

The deluxe rooms at AKL are slightly larger than the standard rooms there, and have a daybed in addition to either two queens or a queen and bunkbeds.

Curiously enough, we had the exact same question a few days ago. We were concerned the day bed woudn't be a good option for our toddler.

Getting info on rollaway cots wasn't easy. We called CRO, and they tried diligently to get the info but couldn't confirm 100% rollaways were available.

We called the CR direct -- Housekeeping Manager (get the facts direct from the folks who make the decisions is always best) and found that rollaways ARE available at CR. However, due to space limitations they will only bring a rollaway to rooms with King beds (the Housekeeping Manager advised us that fire regulations won't allow rollaways in rooms with 2 double beds). They also told us the rollaways weren't the most comfortable.

My advice to you is to request a room with 2 double beds (which is the most common option anyway). This will give you sleeping arrangements for 5 (2 people in each double bed, and 1 person in the Day Bed).

Port Orleans river side
have a roll away bed in there rooms which will let you have five in a room

We too are staying at CR. We have 5 and a baby. I called CR and inquired about a rollaway and it seemed that there would be no problem, just a charge of $15/night. She even told me that there would be room for the rollaway even with a crib. I sure hope this info was correct, because like you, two of my kids will not sleep peacefully together. Now I'm going to worry again

I think the aerobed idea is the best one. You can fit a twin aerobed (deflated, of course) in your suitcase with no problem. There is about 5 inches of space between the wall and one of the queen beds, so it will be very easy to store the aerobed there.

We just got back from the CR and loved it. Walking to MK or to the monorail is wonderful, and the rooms are huge. I wouldn't change resorts just for the twins. Get the aerobed or let one of them sleep on the floor.

just a reminder. The rooms at CR are to sleep 4+ (4 bodies plus infant) if you bring a 5th person in, and Disney gets wind of it, the are within their rights to remove you from the premisis without refund due to fire code.

Port Orleans Riverside offers sleeping arrangements for 5, 2 Doubles and a roll away, but the roll away is for someone under 9 yrs and under 70 lbs. It's a tiny little mattress.

.

The CR rooms sleep 5 plus an infant. They have two queen beds plus a day bed. So 5 people are permitted with no problem.

ther abbreviation threw me, i had Carribean Beach in my head. My appologies
