Can I get a cab at the bike barn?

How would we be able to catch a cab from the bike barn to go to the Poly? Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no road to the bike barn that a cab could drive up to, so you can't catch a cab there.

You have a few options on free transportation. All options involve taking an internal bus (you can either walk to the bus stop at the 1500 loop or walk to the bus stop in front of Meadow Trading Post - 900 loop).

1st option: Take internal bus to Settlement bus stop. Take a short walk to the marina & take a launch to the Contemporary. Get on the monorail on the 2nd level & the 2nd stop will be the Poly.

2nd option: Take internal bus to Settlement bus stop, take the same short walk to the marina, take the Magic Kingdom launch to the MK. From there you can either take a launch or a bus to the Poly.

3rd option: Take internal bus to Outpost bus stop. Get on a bus to Downtown Disney. Transfer at DTD bus stop to another bus that goes to the Poly. (You can also take a bus to the other theme parks from the Outpost & transfer to a Poly bus at HS, Epcot, or AK.)

The fastest options are 1 or 2.

If you are bent on spending $$$ on a cab, you would need to take an internal bus back to the Outpost Bus stop and wait for a cab in front of the check-in building.

Thanks for the straight scoop.
The reason for the question is we will be done with archery on Thanksgiving Day at 4:15 and we have a dinner ressie at the Poly at 5pm. I would rather not be late. So I think my best bet is to catch any bus back up to the Outpost and get a cab from there. I'm sure it will be under $10.

I beg to differ on the price. I caught a cab from the Outpost to the Hess by the MK parking lot and it was $35 round trip. It's your money and if you want the cab go right ahead. I am willing to bet by the time you get a bus to the Outpost and get in the cab you'd have been better off the boat to CR,

I've gotten a cab from VWL to the Poly for about $5.
But anyway.....
Wouldn't I have to catch a bus from the bike barn to the marina anyway. Then wait for the boat, then wait for the Monorail.
I'm not complaining just want to be on time for TDay dinner.

Correct. If you hit it good you could be there quick. If bad you could be a while.

Ya know...so much has changed recently....

Call the front desk & ask if a cab can pick you up in front of Meadow Trading post. I've recently seen cabs inside the Fort. The worst answer you will get is "no", and then you can put Plan B into effect.

The telno for the front desk is 407-824-2900.

With only 45 minutes between the archery and the dinner, I would not count on being there on time even in a taxi. Shortest time, you still have to get to the bus stop, wait for the bus, get to the Outpost and transfer to the taxi who might be waiting for you. Then the drive time to the Poly. Good luck. Wish you the best and not to flame you, but I never understood making such a tight schedule during what should be a relaxing vacation. I read about a lot of people trying to make such schedules and being distraught when it can't work out. Enjoy. Smell the roses.
