can i get a WDW bus from HS to MK/TTC? or would i need to go to a resort then back out again?

All of the parks have transportation to all the other parks, as well all Disney resorts. This is for those doing park hopping. There is no transportation between the parks and DTD.

There are two options you can do when coming from Hollywood Studios.

1) Take a bus to the Transportation & Ticket Center, then take the Express Monorail or boat to the Magic Kingdom.

2) Take the bus to the Contemporary/Polynesian/Grand Floridian, get off at the Contemporary and use the walkway to the Magic Kingdom.

The above is misleading as there is no transportation directly from the MK to any of the other WDW theme parks.

All WDW transportation (except for buses to WDW resorts at the MK) from the MK area is located at the TTC:

WDW buses to/from the AK and DHS.

Monorail to/from EPCOT.

Actually, that statement is misleading too. Probably should be revised to state "All WDW transportation from the MK area to other WDW theme parks is located at the TTC" since WDW transportation to/from many resorts is from the bus depot right outside the MK entrance.

Anytime we want to go from the MK to another park we simply take the short walk to the Contemporary and hop on a bus from there to any other park (except Epcot), water park, or DTD.

We used the bus from HS to TTC. We then hopped on the monorail to the MK. Didn't take too long at all. Good luck.
