I haven't taken the boat you are asking about as my trip is just 9 days away but I did book Mickey's BYBBQ which is also at Ft Wilderness and I'm staying at CR, so I've already confirmed with DISers that there is a boat from CR to FW. Here is the thread I started a few weeks ago:

But see the google map link I have on that thread and maybe someone will need to confirm with you whether the Hoop Dee Doo location is at the end point noted on google maps because that is pretty far from the boat dock. I think I read somewhere that there's a shuttle? but not 100% sure.

Pioneer Hall is a short walk from the boat dock, about 3 football fields.

Unless you want a semi long walk you would take the internal bus to get to the BBQ.

HDDR is at Pioneer Hall nearer the dock and is near where you walk to to get that bus.

We took the boat last year from MK to HDDR. You need to be there an hour before your reservation. Sometimes the boats take a while longer. Then we took a bus back to AKV. Be aware that our bus on the trip back stopped at SofG, Poly, AllStars, somewhere else then AKV Kidani. I think there were 6 stops including ours. The bus driver was full of trivia and great, so not a problem at all to us.

Don't forget the Boat from the Contemporary will also stop at Wilderness Lodge and it operates everyday from 6:55 AM - 11:30 PM.
