Can I fly with glow bracelets?

I bought a bunch of glow bracelets and necklaces and as I was packing them, DH commented that I shouldn't be surprised if the bag (which will be checked) got searched and the glow stuff confiscated. Has anyone flown with these things lately...like in the past few months...maybe even out of DFW?

I can't believe I'm finally leaving tomorrow!!!!

I put mine in my checked bag. Since they contain a gel-like substance, I would guess that you can't fly with them in your carry-on. I would check them just to be safe.

Good to know since we purchased bunches for our 4 dds to take in a couple of weeks. We wouldn't be out alot of money if they were confiscated but they certainly will save us a bundle of money in the parks.

Never had a problem and we have flown twice since the "new regs". Usually they are packed but we even had some in our carry on headed home since it was a late flight and we were in the park after dark.

I just flew with a tube of 100 of them in my checked luggage and had no trouble at all.

I read the thread title and was picturing someone donning glow bracelets on arms and legs and getting ready to leap off a precipice--no, you can't fly with glow bracelets.

Of course, I know what you really meant, it was just one of those funny pictures you get in your head....
