Can I find out beforehand if hyenas and eels will appear?

Yes hiro, I stumbled upon pictures taken at Hollywood Studios where people got to meet and greet the hyenas in 2014.
Hyenas roaming around Disneyland in Paris:

I wonder whether or not they are still guarding any Disney dining tables?

Thanks for sharing the video HopperFan! The hyenas appeared around 5:38 and it seems like they don't stay long. Is it possible to catch up with them when they leave the show? Meaning, do they roam around the park once they are off show duty?
I saw Flotsam and Jetsam plushes on ebay too... they are going for a fortune!

BTW: When I tried replying earlier today, the site was down for hours!

No. The parade goes backstage and I've never seen them outside of the parade.

I have full-sized Plush of the hyenas. They were released when the blu ray came out. Maybe you can still find them on eBay or amazon? I too would love to meet the hyenas!! I think there is a pin sent that had Scar with the hyenas and Ursula with Flotasm and Jetsam, but not sure if it's still currently sold.

I think chances are slim to none that you would catch them because they exit wit the parade back to the float barn. None of the parade carachters typically stick around for meets.

Te forum post you shared is from 2009. The back lot tour is no more and that stuff is long gone.
