I read on the "Is there any way to have a less expensive wedding" post that you can reserve a suite at one of the resorts and get married in your room. Do anyone know if this is allowed? If so, it may just solve my problem.

It’s sort of a “gray area” if that makes sense. Officially, all weddings that take place on Disney property must go through Fairy Tale Weddings. Therefore, you couldn’t have your wedding outside at your resort or anything like that because you could be asked to leave. However, within your own resort room or suite, you wouldn’t be seen by Disney, so there probably wouldn’t be a problem. You will have to provide all your own items though (like bouquet, etc.) since you wouldn’t be working with Fairy Tale Weddings. If you’re having a small group, but don’t think an Intimate Wedding would work for you, then it’s an option to consider. Just be aware that it has to be kept outside of public view. technically no. per disney all onsite weddings need to be through disney fairytale weddings. if for some reason you were able to book a suite & plan a wedding in a resort room, you would have to do/provide everything on your own (ie floral, officiant, photography, music, etc). so you would have to be careful having a wedding in a disney suite because if you were caught disney could ask you to leave the premise.

another option is justmarry which is at the swan & dolphin resort but still on disney property they offer intimate wedding packages also without the limitations (ie disney 12 or less guests http://www.justmarry.com/
