Can I get into OKW with my member card even if I don't have a reservation or PS at Olivia's? On our way to Port Canaveral we are planning on stopping at Downtown Disney and Beaches and Cream, but I thought I might like to stop at the store at OKW and buy some stuff from my home resort. Can I do this (other than taking the boat or bus from Downtown Disney to avoid the gatehouse issue) with the upgraded security since 9/11?

you don't even need that - just tell the security guard that you want to shop in the general store - he won't have a problem letting you in

On our last trip, we decided to visit OKW to look around since we had never seen it "up close and personal", only from the golf course! We mentioned we were members and even had our card out to show him, but he waved us on through. Don't think it will be a problem for you.

On our BCV stay last month, Crissup and I hit all the DVC gift shops our last evening. OKW, BWV and where we were staying, BCV. No problem at all entering the resorts for a little shopping. Enjoy!
