ok, already have ressie for the buy4get3........it is at POR, family of 5(2adult,2junior,1child)............can I change my ressie to POP and get two rooms......my question really is, that if I change it-will I get 2 $200 gift cards? And how do I change it? Made ressies online, can I change online?

If you book 2 rooms you would get 2 gift cards I believe. But the rest I would call wdw and ask them how to book them to make sure you don't end up with rooms on opposite sides of the resort. (with two adults and 3 kids not sure if they preblock and gtd connecting or not)

No because the two rooms would be put on one reservation

what if they book 2 different rooms under 2 different names & use 2 different credit cards?

Seems like I've read (on the humongously long thread) about people doing just that...and having confirmation of 2 separate rooms, 2 gift cards, etc.

course, I also see that OP's trip is in 2 months or so...and lots of people have been posting there's no availability at Pop for a lot of dates in January & February. So it may just be a no-go because of that anyway.

I did a search on the rooms with the discount and it looks as though our dates are available.........If we did two different bookings we would run into trouble getting our rooms together-looks like I need to call Disney tomorrow!

Technically yes you can. What youll want to do is make the new res for the room with lets say one adult and one child for pop then call and have them modify your existing res to pop and remove the one adult and one child you placed on the other res and have them make a "travel with" for the 2 resses

The gift cards are per reservation, not per room.

I have 2 rooms booked for my family of 5 and 2 ressie numbers. Room one is DH,DD 9 and myself. Room 2 is DD18 and DD13. We are getting 2 gift cards.

I just got the new deal applied to our ressie. We have 2 rooms reserved at the ASMo, and we get 2 cards for both rooms.

Question, though...does anyone know if I can use the gift card for tips at the restaurants?? Or is it for merchandise solely?

so do I need to make 2 telephone calls, or can I just be upfront with the CM tomorrow when I call? It would be very nice to have 2 rooms and to stay at the POP, since we never have been there. Add the bonus of $400 in free Disney money-priceless

The CM told me you can use it for anything including charges to the room, you can charge your tips to your room. Before leaving apply the card to any room charges made, this would cover anything charged.
