Here's the situation.

DH and I will be in Disney w/o kids on Sept 3-6. We will be over at POR. We will return home and then be coming back down with our 4 kiddos on Sept 18-25 for a week at the POLY.

I was wondering if I put together "gift baskets" (I'd like to shop for the stuff myself while I am there first time) (already have great gift containers I can take with me) would it be possible to leave them at POLY front desk for delivery at check in two weeks later? I know they routinely store tons of other kinds of stuff and accept delivery from FEdEx etc.???

Anyone try this? I will also be getting a grocery delivery when we check in for family vacation so I will be down at front desk doing my buisness anyway??

what would be concerns? Would it be better to try and find a cardboard box to tape them up in or what? I could also just leave a suitcase (full of our stuff) tagged with our info?

anyone done this?

I'm not sure you can actually bring it there two weeks ahead of time, security reasons with the back lash of 9-11 and terrorist threats, but, you could ship it there and have it arrive a few days before you arrive, you need to put the name the reservation is under and the confirmation #, along with the date of arrival.

yeah, I know I can ship it, I was trying to avoid the shipping charges though!

I guess I was kind of equating it to all the fridge/stroller swap kind of things where the party/guest departing leaves the fridge in storage at front desk with Disney until the next guest request it?
