Can I do this..add on a night?

I have a reservation at OKW in January '10. I only had enough points for 6 nights, plus a bit left over. I have since bought VGC. Booking is allwoed at VGC starting this Sunday, June 7. Would I be able to now call MS and use the remainder of my OKW points and borrow from my 2010 VGC points (March use year, and I don't get 2009 points) to patch together one more night at OKW? If so, do they let you stay in the same room? Do you have to cancel the first and start over?

This month is 7 months from January, so as long as you're calling at exactly 7 months from the day you want to add you should be fine. As long as something is available they should just be able to add it to your existing reservation.

Just ask MS to link the reservations and then you'll be able to stay in the same room. You should be able to call at the 7 month mark and add the day if it is available.

Thanks..I think I'll have to at least wait until June 7, since I don't think VGC points are available for booking until then..is this right? Since I have to borrow from my 10 VGC points..I don't think we can even have access to them until the booking day? Or can I since the resort will be open in CA when I book for Fla? I'm really confused...

I don't think June 7 would apply for an OKW reservation with VGC points, just VGC reservations.

I did this with my AKV Kidani points. Used them to book at Jambo house for a stay that was after the Kidani opening, but before they were taking bookings for Kidani.

No..all borrowed out. I'll need to borrow from my VGC points for 2010.
