Can I do scoring without a scor pal?

I don't have one and was wondering if its possible to do the same stuff with my fiskar paper cutter? I like the scor pal but it's a bit much for me to spend right now. THANKS

I dont know what a scor pal is. I'm not sure what you need it for but If I want to fold something like a card I use a bone folder.

Yes you can use your fiskers paper cutter. They have a scoring blade but I can’t seem to get the hang of that thing. You can use an old ball point pen. Put you paper in like you were going to cut it and run your ball point down the grove where your blade would cut. If you have an embossing tool, that works much better.

I recommend trying the scoring blade for the fiskars cutter. I use mine for invitations and Christmas cards and it works out great!

I use my fiskars paper trimmer but instead of the score tool I use an old credit card and run it down the paper where the blade would go. Works really well.
