Can I change this PIN to a package?

CM says my pin is for room only 40% off. I've read on the boards of others booking 40% with DP and TKTS. IS mine different or is CM wrong? If I book during free dining (assuming it happens) do I have to give up my PIN discount to get the free dining? What if I book bounceback during free dining, do I get the free dining or do I give up my bounceback offer to get it?

Disney doesn't allow stacking of discount. You pick one deal and that's the one you get. What you are reading is probably people using their 40% and then adding the dining at full price. If there is something else going on I hope someone fills me in on it!

If you use the 40% pin you can add tickets and dining at regular price, you cant stack discounts. Its 40% OR free dining

So in my case, we will stay at the Music Resort, came to $832 for the room only. Munis the 40% I saved $333. I am def going to go for the free dining plan. I have 4 kids..lol

I booked my trip today with the 40% off code. The code is only good for the room but I was told I can add dining and tickets too. I only wanted a room ressie but the cm said I had to buy park tickets to get the 40%off the room. Has anyone been able to just book a room with the 40% code?

From what I've skimmed through on other threads, one generally gets a better discount with free dining if booking a value or moderate> Do I have that right? I'm looking to do an ultra cheap mom/daughter trip in late summer or fall. With just the 2 of us, it will be $50/day for the dining plan. I thought we'd stay value. It appears I'll save more with free dining.
