Can I cancel a CC application?

I signed in to my SW cc the other day to check the balance. There was a "special offer for you" with 40,000 miles attached. I honestly didn't read the offer thoroughly and hit apply. It's for a second SW card and I don't want it. I thought it was an offer to upgrade my current Premier Card. Any way to "take back" my request?

If you call Chase, you can ask if its been approved yet. I know when I apply, I almost always get instant approval so it might already be approved and you'd just have to cancel the card vs application.
