Can I call Member Services for the Candlelight Proc instead of Dining line?

DH usually handles all the DVC stuff and we are new to it. I can not rech him at work. I am hold with Disney Dining for the CP. SHould I have called Member Services instead?

Someone posted on the Reservation board that they did just that and got in fine. I used the Dine number because I was before 9AM.

Isn't that the way it is! I see 'Philly Suburbs" and think "Philly Cheese steak!" Would love to share one of those and have some cheese fries too!

I called the Disney dining at 6;59 and they said that they were closed. Called at 7 and could not get through until 7:50...waited for 35 minutes and was cut off. Phoned member services at 9 (she said that I was her first caller) and got Le Cellier 5:10 dinner reservations for the 8:15 show on Dec 23'rd. I can not believe that I did so much panicking fro 7 to 9

I wish I'd have known about MS doing this...my fault for not looking for threads about that. I called at 10:30 a.m. ET and waited 35 minutes. Couldn't get Le Cellier for any dates during our Dec 1-5 stay. Will "suffer through" with Chefs de France!

We booked through MS also after trying to get through with DD this AM. It was a GREAT benefit! People were reporting 2 hour + wait times and DH only waited about 5-10 minutes with MS!

I also went the MS route... after getting busy signal after busy signal for over two hours. Glad I was reading the DISBoards, or I wouldn't have remembered that MS could do this for me. I waited 5 minutes on hold. Got Teppan Edo at 5:30 for an 8:15 show.

got right thru to MS and booked le cellier for dec 15 with no wait...this was after waiting 2 hours on the dine line!

I called at 4:55 and got right through with MS. My sister tried the main dining number and just sat on hold.

Had no problem getting what I wanted but I don't think it's as popular as some (Biergarten)

Biergarten is what my DGF and I wanted, too! We're going on Dec. 16th.

Same thing here. I was at work, so I had to use my cellphone . . . which I hate to use and kept getting that darn circuit busy message [BTW, wonder how much you get paid for that type of voice over work]. Then I saw someone post about MS. I immediately called and held for about 5 full minutes -which seemed like an eternity. Didn't get my 1st choice for dinner on 12/10 - LC, but did get Chefs de France, a nice restaurant, too. And I have LC scheduled elsewhere during our trip, so no worries.

But for some reason I feel the need to screw things up by seeing if I can change it to Tutto Italia. What's wrong with me? [rhetorical question, please don't answer]

ditto. I called right at 7am. I had to re-dial 3 times before being put on hold. I finally got a CM at 7:52. I got Coral Reef on 12/27

Now I just need to know who my narrator is!
