For our next trip, I am making baskets for the kids and my in-laws (their first Disney trip in decades), and I wanted to put Poly refillable mugs in the basket for the adults. Is there any way I can purchase mugs before I get there?

You could try calling the resort itself or Customer relations. Not sure if it would work, but I would start with that.

Why would you want to?? Just asking. If you are going to go to get a refill, you may as well just buy it when you get there. I think that would be easier than packing it & lugging it with you?? If you are thinking on surprising your kids with it, you could always check in, go to the room, run down & get them, then bring them back???

I was going to put them in the baskets that I'm preparing for my in-laws. I wanted to get the baskets ready and surprise them when we got there.

What you might want to do is to get a pic of them & print it off the computer, but you can still wait until you are actually there to buy them...especially if you are going to give them the baskets there... you may even want to maybe ask a CM at the Poly to deliver the baskets to the door for you (after you put them all together) and have your family be there to open the door! I am sure one of the CM's would be more than happy to do that.

Isn't the policy stands still? When you purchase the refill mugs, you can use it for the length of your stay? So, if you purchase them now, they can't use them for their upcoming trip. Am I correct or not?

It's a nice idea.

Some resorts will let you order the mugs to your room, they are gift wrapped and filled with candy(doesn't specify what kind). The cost isn't really cheap but I guess it's under $20 a peice. I'd o with the coupon thing, make up a classy looking coupon that lets them know the mugs will be an arrival gift. :teeth:
