Yes. Dh bought his AP first, then mine. We did this so we could use our debit card. The daily limit on this is such that we could only buy one at a time. He then forgot to buy the kids'. Fortunately, it took no longer to purchase theirs than it did to pick our ours.

We are doing the same thing thru ticketmania with our My way tickets. A little less bite out of the monthly budget this way for us. One a month for 4 months.

As long as you are not buying a package that includes tickets, you can buy as many or as few as you want.

I always recommend this to people who ask me about WDW trips planning, and I use the technique myself when I plan a trip - I buy my WDW pass one week, then my Universal pass another week, put my room deposit down in a different week, airfare another week...

Breaking up the expenses across multiple paychecks over the course of several months not only makes it easier to pay them, but it also gives me a little bit of Disney Magic as I send away the money for each item and recieve them in the mail.

My MVMCP ticket for Dec 1 just arrived this week, and I wasn;t expecting such a buzz from it, but I wound up sitting at my desk staring at it for about 5 minutes with adrenaline pumping almost as much as it does when I first pass under the WDW arches.
