Can I zip-tie an umbrella stroller and put a DME Luggage tag on it? His little stroller is so easy to manage, I don't want to rent one there...
Thanks!!

The airlines will treat it like luggage, so DME should as well. I can't speak for this wholly as we are using DME for the first time next month. But the only thing they say they won't transport is pet carriers. If you ship it as luggage, I don't see why they wouldn't handle it. Especially if you were kind enough to zip tie it so it doesn't open.

Why not gate check the stroller? That way, you can have use of it at both airports.

When you get to your gate, tell the gate agent you want to gate check the stroller. You'll have a little paperwork to fill out, and a tag will be put on the stroller. When you get to the end of the jetway, just before you enter the plane, fold it up and leave it there (off to the side). It will be loaded onto the plane. When you arrive at MCO, walk into the jetway and pull off to the side to wait for your stroller to be brought up to you inside the jetway. After that, you can wheel on out of there. When you get to the DME bus, fold it up again and the driver will load it onto the bus for you, and then will unload it for you when you arrive at your resort.
