Ok....so...not really! It's just that every time I start to plan a Disney trip, I start to have daughter envy! I am the mom of 3 boys and I don't think that they would like it too much if I drug them off to the bippity boppity boutique!!! I am really going to miss having someone to go to the princess dinners with, buy princess dresses, and...one day....plan that Cinderella Disney Wedding!!! Whah!

I hear ya!!! I have 3 boys myself! I at least can borrow my nieces...... my sister has 5 girls!!!!!!!! NO - I don't envy her at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

also mum to three boys and I know what you mean about princess dinners etc I look longingly at the princess dress's, although there is a positive side to having 3 boys I have really enjoyed sharing the boys interest in pirates this year :rotfl:

I have to say, I have the best of both worlds- 1 DD now 12 who has always been a "girlie girl" into the dresses and all- and two DS who love all the pirates ect!

Ok you twisted my arm you can take my DD but we are a package deal so I have to come too! I will gladly suffer along while we take her to the boutique and you pay for her disney wedding in about 15 yrs..lol

BIG princesses are allowed to do BBB you know!!!!! This big princess did and is again. As for dresses either dress dog or buy a my size barbie to dress up. As for wedding I'll cut you a deal You pland and PAY for my vow renewal at Disney :)

I know exactly how you feel. I have 2 boys who I love dearly, but I still yearn for that little girl! We were at Disney in June and while I was waiting for the MK to open, all the little girls came in with their princess dresses on that were going to Cinderellas castle to have breakfast. They were so cute!

Hear you on this one. I told my Fiance we need kids NOW so that I can satisfy my desire to have a little one to bring to the BBB, buy princess goodies for, have dinner in the castle with, etc. Disney with kids is just so much fun. When my friends little girl's lived with us for a year we took them every week to Disney and it was a blast, they were such girlie girls that I got to do all that fun stuff that I miss now. Man I need kids...lol

Funny. I have girls and when I was growing up I wanted to have sons. I wasn't into the girly stuff much. I love having girls, but they're into lots of things from princesses to pirates. I'm not interested in the BBB really, but we have done the princess meals. This trip, my girls are going on the Pirate Cruise for dd10's birthday. She's so excited about it! She's a serious Peter Pan fan....although I think that obsession is starting to change over to superhero obsession thanks to The Incredibles, which we're watching right now.

You can have mine! But she's 18 and goes off to college next month. I'll give her to you for four years if you foot the college bill! You can do whatever you want with her! :rotfl:

I know what you mean - I have two little boys, and all my friends have little girls. I get my girlie fix at their birthday parties. princess:

When we planned an earlier trip to DL, I asked DS5 if he'd be willing to go to a princess breakfast, reasoning that DS(then nearly)2 might not be afraid of face characters. He sweetly said that would be OK. But the more I thought about it, I just couldn't do it. (We wound up cancelling that trip, so not sure if that would have been a good idea or not.)

It would be so much fun to see all the little girls dressed up to see their princesses!

You can have my dd. princess: Her brothers hated all the princess meals we made them endure. The youngest did devolope a crush on jasmine though.(i wonder why) out of all my friends and family there are 15 boys and I have the only girl. She gets spoiled by everyone.

heck, i'll borrow any of your kids....i am not picky- boy or girl....i can't wait to have a child to share the magic with, boy or girl. you are all blessed to have them.

<---5 years of infertility, now 32y/o! hopefully the artificial insem. works next month after our trip to the mouse!

As a mom of boys I feel your pain. But I just stared planning princess stuff for myself. I dragged all my guys to Cindy's breakfast a few years back, and just this past Decemeber, I had a Magical Moment while trying to be a big princess. We saw Belle and Aurora in France, all alone. My youngest didn't want a picture with them, so I said, "well I do!" and while I was diggin my camera and photopass out, they went over and started talking to my son! The coaxed him into position, primping his hat and shirt and posed and kissed him. It was wonderful! Also on this past trip I took a photo of someone else's daughter getting her picture taken all dressup. I couldn't resist.

Be your own princess!

Hmmmmm...I could have a little business going here just renting out my DD. She would be happy as a clam to do all the disney visits to all the princess things with everyone. We will be moving to Orlando in a couple years, and I can't make her understand that we are not going to live inside Disney.

We will be at the Botique Oct. 31st at 2:00. You are more than welcome to come along. Bring your wallet though because those cute little girls want it all princess: My DD will probably empty my wallet and start on another :) My DS had to tag along to Cinderella's castle for breakfast on our last trip. He was 3 at the time and loved all the attention from the girls. He left with his face covered in lipstick kisses. It was SO cute.

This is soooo sad....I love going to WDW. But when I see all the little princesses...it makes me want to cry. I have wanted my own princess for years, but its not in our cards. Enjoy the time you have with them and don't be offended when I take pics of them:-) They look sooooo adorable. Maybe its for the best...we'd be soooo broke.

I have two girls, but if I lend them out, I won't have an excuse to do all the princess things at Disney. :rotfl2: Although I am grown up, I love all the princess stuff, and my girls give me a reason for experiencing all this without looking too silly, lol. I bought all the Disney princess songs CDs and DVDs as much for myself as for my girls. I'm sure if I had boys, I would have fun with all the swashbuckling stuff too.
