Can I Book now & apply code later

If I make a reservation for WL in November 2003 right now, I will get the non-discounted rate. Would Disney lower the prices later on, when the November codes come out in August?
I think I saw that this was done by some of you, and I also wanted to find out if the reservation was thru the Disney reservations or somebody else?

Hi!
You can book now and when the dicounts or codes come out you can call back and ask that the codes be applied to your current reservation. I take care of my own reservations directly with Disney but if you want to go thru a travel agent, alot of people on these boards use Dreams Unlimited and seem to be very happy. I understand the agents at Dreams Unlimited monitor the codes and will call to have your rate adjusted when possible. I hope this helps!

I think that is pretty much what most of us do.... book now and continually add discounts. I book at rack rate, then add AAA discount when it becomes available then codes or special promotions closer to travel dates.
