Can I book AAA rates directly through Disney myself?

and if so how hard is it to add a code or PIN if I were to get one later?
We are planning on going to Disney June 2-9, 2010. I am hoping 4/3 gets extended until then, but I am thinking of seeing if there are any AAA rates left just in case the extension doesn't happen. A small discount is better then no discount at all.
I am kind of a control freak when it comes to things like this so I would much rather deal with Disney direct vs. using a AAA TA. I know I care WAY more about my vacation then some random TA does. So can I call Disney directly and just ask for a AAA rate?

You can call direct and book with the AAA rate if any rooms still available, but for room only. To do a package you have to go through the AAA Ta. And, it's easy to apply a new deal, code, or pin, if one comes up and there is availability for your dates at the resort you want, and you can upgrade to a package with tickets, and dining then, too, if the new deal you want to apply is for a package. You may have to change resorts to apply a particular deal if yours isn't available for your dates. I'd go ahead an secure a room at the resort you want now and then apply a new deal whenever the time comes. That's what I did and then applied and upgraded to a package with the newest 4/3 deal yesterday and it worked great!

Oh, you've gotta have some disney faith, lol! I'm sure there will be something then, I'd actually be very shocked if there wasn't! There's always something, you just have to make sure to stay on top of things here, paying attention as new deals get released. As the time for you trip gets closer, new deals will start to come out, right now is a little early. Just have to be patient. Get your ressie all set, and being so early I'd think you'd have good shot at getting a AAA discount at least, but who knows. Like I said, get your ressie all set and secured now. You have plenty of time to get some kind of deal, until like 45 days before your trip when it has to be paid in full. You should have something, at the least AAA, by then. Good Luck!!

LoL. Thank you. I just feel kind of stuck right now. DH has to put in for his vacation time either this month or next and I am just praying he can get off when I want to go. We usually go as soon as the girls get out of school (either leave that day or the next) to try and get there before EVERY school is out. Since we go the first week of June we have always paid rack rate in the past, but this year we just can't really afford it. I am toying around with staying at a Mod but my mom wont have it. I guess we got spoiled last time we stayed at BC and hardly ever had to use the buses, which we have had bad experiences with. I guess we are just too courteous of people and get trampled over by those who are not so much Plus with a bunch of kids and strollers and stuff it just makes it that much harder.
