Well, the disney related news is I will be at wdw on 12-7 at the gf for the weeks worth of fun!!!!!!!

Off topic is, can anyone help with birthday ideas for things to do for a home party for a 10 year old boy and friends. Right before our trip to disney.

At that age I tried not to have anything at the house. It was easier to go to a bowling alley and have pizza and bring a cake.

We actually had a Pinata that we got from Wal-Mart...they LOVED IT plus it was cheap and kept them outside and busy.

Probably about 10 classmates of his. I will also have 14 adult family members at the house.

I am trying to find some inside or outside structured activities for them. Since we live in NJ, it is usually very cold outside the first week of Dec. However, two or three years ago it was 82.

My sons 10th was in Sept...and we had a water balloon battle....they loved it....I think something physical would be great....Let me think.....

Do you have a heated garage you can utilize or a big family room? Boys require A LOT of space!!

We did a Star Wars theme party for my DS at that age with different areas - we took a Darth Vader poster on a board and then made a dart board w/balloons. We had a ring toss - etc.

For outside activities, how about an obstacle course? You could get old tires and make a tire obstacle, a pinata for testing arm strength, get an inexpensive bowling set at the dollar store, etc.
