Can I bank points...

over the phone.....I just purchased but need to bank 2009 before the end of the month and have not received the one time activation code to on the website yet....

Im thinking I wont get it until all my paperwork is in and processed which may be cutting it close and would feel much better if I could just call to take care of it.

Yes, you can bank points over the phone. Just call member services.

When you call Member Services to bank to the points, ask for your Club ID and one-time activation code that you will need to access the member website. You do not need to wait to get this in the mail in the mail. The Club ID number is different from your Member ID number.

If the person you speak to at Member Services says they can't give it to you, call back. That happened to me. First guy said he couldn't; second lady gave me the information and instructions on what to do.

Remember that Member Services is only open from 9:00 to 5:30, is closed on holidays, and has weird hours on one day coming up (listed in another thread, I think it might be September 9).

Don't wait on anything, call your guide and tell him you don't want to be at "last minute" if you decide you want to bank those points. Your guide should be able to move things along and if not call MS directly re being in the system etc ( and if you need to speak to a supervisor ).

Hi I just did this today too. You must of also bought Feb. UY I just simply called Member Services 1 800 # that is on the temp. membership card and asked for her to bank them. No problem-super easy. While I was on the phone I asked her also for my activation code for the website and she gave it to me. After our conversation I went online and registered and I could see right away where she had banked the pts.
By the way, our Guide told us that if you did not make deadline, they are a little flexible with this when it is a contract you are newly acquiring.
