We got a wee bit of scary news today that's left me feeling like a wet dish rag. I could use a hug or two and a zillion prayers.

**edited to add**I don't mean to sound secretive. My mom had a colonoscopy on Thurs and they did a biopsy. Her doc called today to tell her that the tumor they found was cancerous. I meant to ask for prayers for HER.....not me. LOL

DisMN, I will add you to my prayers also. My dad also had a cancerous polyp removed during a routine colonoscopy last month. According to his surgeon, a colon resection will be done and that should take care of the problem. No radiation or chemo needed. I hope your Mom's in the same boat. I think chemo and radiation is an awful thing to go through. His surgery is set for November 17.

Hugs and prayers are coming your way and your mom's. My Dad had the same situation and he was fortunate that all he needed was surgery. He had a small piece of his colon removed and not sure what else they did. He's fine and healthy now.

I know this can be an extremely emotional and trying time. Take care of yourself first and foremost. Taking care of our parents as they get holder is being increasingly difficult for many people.

I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers!
