Can I apply a bounceback offer on a booked future reservation?

Hi everyone,

Had a question. If I am booked for a stay at one of the wdw resorts for a future visit and I take a trip to wdw prior to that visit and receive a bounceback offer in my room, can I just call and apply the bounceback code to that existing reservation in the future? Or do bounceback offers only apply to new reservations?

Normally with Disney, nothing is limited to new reservations. They are pretty good about applying discounts to existing reservations. I have never heard of anyone trying this before. I am sure you can do it though. Worst case you would need to cancel your other reservation and book a new one.

However, bounce backs are for specific periods which would have to correspond to the dates of your future trip.

Yes, first of all you would want to make sure you are meeting the bounce-back offer requirements. The worst case scenario is that you would book under bounce-back and cancel the other reservation. If you are canceling a package and rebooking a package, I think they will just transfer any payment you have coming back to the new reservation.

If you had a room-only and are booking a package, they will need to refund the money.

So, you will just want to make sure you have your info with you and be prepared to make the change. Once you check-out, the "bounce-back" chance is gone.
