Can I add dining - question

Hi All!!! I'm looking at making a reservation for room and hopper tickets on and agency exclusive rate. The agent tells me they are unable to add the dining plan because of the discounted rate. If I make this reservation through the agent, can I add the dining plan on directly with Disney?

that agency has certain bookings that do not allow for adding a dining plan. If you make the reservation through the TA, Disney will not let you make any changes to it. TA's own the reservation until you check in. Dining plans need to be added before check in.

Run the number for your family and figure out if the TA discount is better than booking with Disney and having a dining plan.

If you like having your food "paid for" before your trip, some people buy Disney Gift cards at a discount (a whole thread on the Budget Board). You could purchase gift cards to cover your food and then it would be "paid for".

Unfortunately, these group rates are set up as room only reservations with the option to add tickets but not dining plan. There are some group rates that do allow the option to add dining without necessarily tickets.
