can I add additional day?

We are within our 45 day mark, booked 2 rooms for 10 nights FD with pin. We think we would like to arrive 1 night earlier. Am I able to add that night without a fee, assuming they have availability and get FD? Or am I better off to book 2 rooms as a separate room only reservation?

Yes, if there is availability under free dining for both rooms, you shouldn't have any problem adding an additional night to the beginning (provided that first night is still within the free dining dates). Payment will be due at the time you add on since you're less than 45 days from arrival. There should not be a change fee as you would be adding to the total cost of the package. If you were subtracting a night, there would be a $50 change fee, but Disney usually waives that fee if you are adding to the total cost. If the free dining promo is expired and the CM tells you it can't be done, ask to speak with someone in Guest Services and they should be able to help you. Regular reservation CMs usually can't check availability and/or make changes as they don't have access to expired promos. HTH .

Thank you so much. It does help. I think that my pin expired 3-31. It would just be a "bonus" to have the FD for that extra day. I will ask to speak with guest services to try and add that then. Otherwise, we will pay OOP , assuming they have 2 rooms available
