Can I add a day at the beginning of our trip?

Typing this for the third time because I am TOO WORDY.

We currently have FD, but the promotion has ended for our dates. Is it possible to add a day to the beginning of our trip and get free dining credits for that day?

I would assume this is possible, but I'm not sure because I read somewhere that changing your arrival date changes your reservation number. If so I would think that would technically mean cancelling and rebooking, and in that case I would guess we'd be out of luck for the FD.

yep.. as long as there is availabilty(rooms full?) and the added day still falls within FD dates.

The best thing you can do is call and ask. Sometimes they allow changes made after a promotion expires as long as there was availability for the desired dates at the end of the promotion. It depends though and it would probably have to be approved by a manager. Most of the stories I've heard when this was granted have been when people had to change their dates entirely due to extenuating circumstances. I'm not sure if wanting to add an extra day to the magic would qualify.

beginning of trip is different. you would get the dining credits if u could add the day AS long as IT fell into FD dates. If it doesnt not sure if it effects your free dining. I think your day of arrival is the important day.

added to the end isnt a problem as long as day isnt full booked already.


in other words if its FD when you arrive you can get for full stay. IF your arrival is before FD starts you dont get at ALL unless you make seperate reservations..someone correct if im wrong. wanna be right.


BTW WE ARE INTO MONTHS TO GO instead of yrs to go.

The only way to know for sure is to call and ask. However since you are only 40 days out, I would expect there to be little or no availability left-meaning that all of the rooms allocated for free dining have been taken. But you may be able to get a room only reservation (without dining) for that first day.
