Can groceries be delivered before I check in at PPH?

First (and most importantly) - THANK YOU again to all of the knowledgeable folks on DIS! Once again I am looking forward to an awesome trip because of your tips!

We are 20 days out so I am in final prep mode - we arrive at LAX late (10pm) and will Uber to PPH. Given our late arrival (and the need of a few groceries for the next morning) I was wondering if I could order to the hotel without being checked in yet?? Will the front desk sign for our order? Would they refrigerate it or should I skip the fresh stuff in the order? Any other tips? (I was going to order from Vons, is this best? Other recommendations?)

I called to ask the concierge about this last week - I was told that the bell desk will sign for grocery deliveries and can keep them cold without you there. The only exception is alcohol - if you have alcohol in your order, you will need to be present to sign for the groceries. From there, bell services can store them or deliver them to your room!

For any hotel, we usually call that day to ask them nicely to put the cold stuff in fridge. So far, so good!
Where are you getting your groceries delivered from? We've always used Safeway, but didnt they close?

We always use Vons at PPH and never had any issues with it being delivered and stored before we arrive!
