A friend who lives in FLA will be meeting us at EPCOT at around 3PM, and we planned on going to Beaches & Cream for dinner after Illuminations. Can we tell her to park at the Beach Club, walk over to EPCOT, then go back to the Beach Club for dinner (this way she doesn't hafta pay for parking at EPCOT, then figure our way to the Beach Club afterwards)?
Will the guard at the Beach Club Entrance give her a pass only good for a couple hours if she tells them she's meeting some friends at Beaches and Cream? Or will they tell her to bug off? I know that if you were to eat at lets say 'Ohana you can park at the Poly with no problems, but I wasn't sure if leaving her car in the Beach Club Lot for 8 hours was a no-no. Because after all, we will be eating there, just not right away when she gets there.
As always, thanks for the help!

Hmmmm... not sure exactly... I know that 5 yrs ago, I had a friend who lived in FL pick us up at the airport and join us at the Yacht Club for the day. She was able to park her car in the lot at the Yacht Club-but I can't remember if I had to show my reservation confirmation??? I can't see why she can't say she's going to eat at Beaches and Cream though-I think that should get her in there? GL!

Your friend will be given a 3 hour parking pass as a Visitor. She can park in valet without a time limit, but it will cost her $6 the same as Epcot parking.

If she parks at Epcot, when you get ready to leave simply ride with her over to the resort and she will have no problem getting in and parking.

Regular parking is $8. Valet parking is $6 and then a tip. So she really isn't saving anything by valet parking but she will get to park at Beach Club without a time limit.

Actually, on my last trip in August we were able to park at BC, go to Epcot eat at Beaches & Cream, and we never had a parking pass.

You can also tell them to park at Boardwalk. Since that's an entertainment area they don't give parking passes.

When I lived in Kissimmee, I use to meet friends at the resort all the time. I usually just told the guard that I was meeting friends staying at the resort and gave their name. I have never had a problem.

thanks for the input! i think that we'll tell her to go to the boardwalk, as it'll be less of a hassle.
thanks again!
