Can escape receptions get bumped by wishes ones?

As disney has said NO to my wishes wedding dreams due to our tiny party size im back to Escape planning.

I have heard that Escape Weddings can book Sonoma and the Attic for receptions. Now I love the Attic and would love to book it but know I have seen it used for wishes wedding receptions.
Can Escape weddings book these rooms at point of booking the wedding?
and can wishes weddings bump escape weddings out of reservations??

As Wishes brides can book 4 months before we can, I'd like to think that once the venue was booked you wouldn't get 'bumped' as you would have paid a deposit to hold the venue... but i honestly couldn't say for sure, i really hope not!!!

is the deposit venue specific then? having read some of disneys contract wording in relasion to DVC (which I know is completely seperate) they seem to be able to wriggle out of a lot!

Everything I've read said your deposit holds your venues and dates, so as I said I would hope they woudln't bump, being an escape bride doesn't make you second class

You can book your reception venue at the same point as booking your ceremony venue, and yep Sonoma and The Attic can both be used by Escape weddings, of course thats as long as a convention or Wishes wedding hasn't booked them.

Everything I've read said your deposit holds your venues and dates, so as I said I would hope they woudln't bump, being an escape bride doesn't make you second class

We had our wedding on september the 29th 2008, our whole weddingwas a complete MESS! not only did they move our wedding cake cutting from the terrace to a boring little room! They didnt bother giving me my 2 half hour calls with the planner( we never got them) the planner didnt get hold of us until the day before our wedding( we tried to get hold of her) and too top it off the whole time RANDY was taking our pictures( he was AMAZING by the way no faults with him) she kept telling him too hurry up as she was running out of time!! whilst in the cake/champers reception I was told not to drink anymore of the champers we had paid for as there would not be enough for our guests ( we asked for more bottles and was told there was no more bottles anywhere)....Ok then!!! Then when it was speaches time she asked if we could not do my Dh only the most important speach of the day as there was NO TIME then rushed us through our 1st dance!

Now we do know there was another wedding she had to do as it was obvious she kept vanishing and my mother in-law kept seeing her on her phone,plus it had an annoncement under our one that another wedding would be at 1 this was only 3 hours after ours( not sure if they got our terrace but i was devastated)
So yeh i agree we was made to feel 2nd rate!!!! i dreamt of my Disney wedding from a child and was soo gutted with it!
