Can Disney Rewards be used as Tips on Dining?

Will be on the Dining Plan, I'm wondering if I can use the Disney Rewards (from the Visa Card) for the tips @ the listed restuarants?

I have never redeemed my rewards. How do I go about doing this? I leave in 40 days do I have enough time?

Also, what is it that I get? A card? Disney Money? In what demoniation? Is there an expiration date, if I don't use it once I get it?

Also, can I use to purchase a refillable mus @ Everything Pop?

You go to the Chase website and order a card (redeem awards). I believe you can load your dollars onto it then, or you may have to wait until you get the card in the mail. To download dollars onto the card from the website, it only takes a few minutes,

I wait to download the dollars right before we go, beacuse you have to have at least $10 in the account. So if you load your $40 on when you order the card, and a few days before you leave you see you have 3 or 4 more dollars in there, you can't get it.

I want every bloody dollar available to me! LOL! We are going down in August with about $400 of Disney rewards dollars.

TIPPING - to answer this one, we use the Disney Dollars for all our CS meals, and some of our TS meals. For the TS meals, we leave cash for the tip. Just easier for us for some reason.

On the dining plan they should bring you a receipt to sign and add a tip - write in the amount of tip you want to give and enclose your rewards card in the folder, they will ring up the tip and have your sign just like any VISAcard.

If it is your first card, it may take about 2 weeks to arrive so I would order it with $100 bucks or whatever. You can call at any time and have more bucks added to the card. Any funds added to that card will expire if not used by the expiration date on the card.

I am going to redeem mine. Then I am going to use my KTTW card to pay for everything - tips, etc. At the end of the trip, I am going to have my reward points applied to my balance.

I worry that if I lose my rewards card in the park, it will be a much bigger pain to resolve than if I lose one of my KTTW. Locked in my safe at CSR is where it is going to stay for most of my trip.
