Can Dining Credits Be Used Early?

Our family of 6 will be at WDW 5/23 - 5/29. Our package stay doesn't begin until 5/24. We are arriving a day early (5/23) due to ridiculously cheap airfare and therefore have a Room Only at Pop that night. I know park tickets can usually be activated early, but are dining credits able to be used early?

For example: Our package stay is at CBR beginning on Wednesday. Can we use a DDP meal credit on Tuesday night?

When I did a search, all of the information was from 2015 so I was hoping for an updated opinion. Thanks All!

And for those following along at home -- yes, I am trying to find a way to use the TS credit that I had to cancel for Monday morning since our DME ride leaves earlier than would be comfortable.

No. While beneficial for guests, it would likely not result in increased revenue for Disney.

Unfortunately, no. You will not be able to access them until Wed morning and then only after you have checked out of your night only and checked into your package resort. You should be able to do that online or at the front desk of your night only stay.

It sounds like you need to either try to find a signature restaurant to use that extra credit or do two TS meals in one day.

Thanks! There are several options floating around in my head right now -- just trying to grab ahold of the one that will be the best. Don't you just hate it when you have everything all planned out and then BAM! something great happens and you have to re-plan? LOL

The way I see it is if having to reschedule a few ADRs is the worst thing on my plate today I'm a winner! We were fortunate enough to receive the gift card offer (as "compensation" for the major construction at the resort) so even if Tuesday night is an OOP meal, it's no big deal.
