Can DDE card be purchased at the same time.....

..... I buy my PAP's ?

I was planning on buying the AP certs abouit 8 weeks before our up coming trip and then getting a DDE cert/card approx 4 weeks out. But then I wondered why I'd want to spend $800.00 eight weeks before I had too. Now I'm planning on walking over to the International Gateway after checking in at BWV and purchasing my AP's right there. Can I also buy my DDE at the same window ? Would I have to go back to BW and buy it at Guest Services ? Buy it somewhere else ? Or does it have to be purchased in advance of my trip ? Thanx in advance and I apologize if I'm the 43rd person to ask the same question.

The DDE can only be purchased from the DDE office. They are open Mon-Fri until 5pm.

do you have to wait til you have your AP in hand? (I ordered mine 3 days ago)
how long does it take to get your AP in the mail? how long to get your DDE

I have no idea where the DDE office is located. I have only heard of people calling to get the card.

The DDE office will email or fax you a letter stating you are a member. I was able to get that the day after I ordered. I ordered the card on Jan. 12th. I didn't get the actual card until the beginning of March. I had no problems using the email at the restaurants.

I personally would not wait till I got to WDW to order the DDE card. Too many things could go wrong. Is there anyway you could order one of the AP's now?

You can only purchase the DDE over the phone and it has to be sent to you.

You can call and purchase it from your resort, after your puchase your ap's, they will fax a letter to your resort so that you can use it for your trip.

The DDE card can not be purchased in person.
