Can children share TS meals on the dining plan like adults?

I have triplets and they don't eat much. At TS, if I order 2 children's meals and pay OoP for an extra drink to share between the 3 of them (at non-buffet or price fixed places), is that ok? I see that adults aren't having any trouble sharing TS meals.

Thanks!

The rule is that child meal entitlements cannot be used for adult meals. The "problem" is that there is currently no way for restaurants at WDW to definitely determine, in the moment, which guests are following the rules and which are violating it. So that has led some restaurants to (inconsistently) apply means of enforcement of this rule which are horribly imprecise, so much so that it catches both violators and non-violators with equal prejudice. You could be doing nothing wrong and could be caught in this net of inconsistent, imprecise enforcement.

I suggest you contact Disney Dining to ask more specific questions about this.

In my experience, yes they can share.
We did it in May. My two youngest shared. You're using child credits for children. I can't see where there would be a problem. The waiters at all of the restaurants asked if we ordering for her, we said no she picks and is sharing with all of us. They laughed understood and that was it.

I was hoping to hear from someone who has gone recently to see if their children were allowed to share meals. I'm not asking about banking credits to use for me later. I'm asking if I can order 2 childrens meals and have my triplets share the food.

thanks. My trio are very light eaters and might not even finish one child's meal between the 3 of them! DH and I also share meals. It's a lot of food!

Yup, I understood. My point was only that guest experiences regarding Dining Plan meals with children have varied, because of this seemingly unrelated problem, and that patrons should be prepared for either situation. I'm sorry my message was confusing.

Have a great trip!

We will, no matter what we encounter! Thanks!

We learned that when my second was younger. The first couple of nights we ordered her a dinner and she barely ate her fries each night. We got smart and started sharing. It's definitely a lot of food but we had fun ordering different appetizers and having a taste of each others. Dessert was the best!!! :thumbsup2 Enjoy your trip!

We got back yesterday and my kids shared almost every TS meal. They don't really like restaurant food much but will eat tons of fruit and veggies (and icecream). We ended up using snack credits for bowls of fruit and converting some of our CS meals to snacks so they would have enough to eat. We really had a hard time finding food they would like. Mostly they like really plain grown up food (chicken, steak, veggies but without sauces) and not kid food (frozen pizzas, chicken sticks) so it was really hard. But back to your question, we ate at Marrekesh, Wolfgang Puck, Raglan Road and Coral Reef and they shared at all of them. The other meals were buffets and they had to have their own.

I got back a few days ago and my kid either shared meals with me or with her little friend as she was NOT big eater either.
