Can cast exclusive pins be traded?

Hello! I was thinking about buying a set of "cast exclusive" pins on ebay. There are a couple in the set I want to keep, but can others be traded with cast members at the parks? Last year, I ended up trading for a cast exclusive pin on a cast lanyard, but I wasn't sure if that was just unusual... Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!

Yes - as long as they have a Disney backstamp they can be traded.

Cast pins can be more sought after or less sought after, depending on which ones they are and when and where they are released. They are definitely tradeable, and for many folks in the midst of the country that can not get to the parks to collect them they are excellent traders, after all- you can only get a cast pin by buying them or by trading with a CM.
