As the CP ever gotten rained out? This is our first time going, so not sure if the set-up. What if there are thunderstorms? We have the CP dinner package. Rain would be a bummer and make it not-as-worth 2 credits!

I'll assume lightning is the only thing that would cancel it.I'm saying this because several years ago we got seats just past the roof area and started seeing it in the rain.We had our ponchos on but we were miserable so we left after 10 minutes or so and came back for the last show which was dry.

It can get rained out. Usually it only gets rained out if the wind is so strong the rain is blowing onstage or if it is lightening.

It poured down rain a couple of years ago during our first CP and we didn't have ponchos. We were drenched by the time it was over, though it let up towards the end.

To be honest, the rain didn't ruin it after I resigned myself to the experience- it was a beautiful show and one of my kids who was ~4 at the time fell asleep some how.

It was not thundering/lightening so that may be a different story in terms of cancellation.

Thanks for the responses. We are going on Monday and storms are in the forecast. Hoping that changes. Are any of the seats covered or is it all open?

The first several rows are under the roof, everybody else is exposed.

Unless you have a dining package expect to be sitting in the open air section.

I'd not worry about any forecast as far away as Monday, anyway.

That is what I am telling myself! I know the forecast could change. We do have a package, if that makes a difference in seating.

And maybe even then, if you don't get in line early enough...

Yup. Fewer than half of seats are under the overhang.

:thumbsup2 Great photos, Robo. Also please note -- that pagoda is Japan. Tokyo Dining is a great option for the CP Dinner Package...
