Can Canadians Do "MyPoints"?

I know I can join mypoints (and apparently did, back in 2003!) but have any Canadians been able to redeem their points for giftcards to use in the States?

We are giving some thought to a trip next year, and since I have a lot of time before we go I thought I might click around a little and see if I could earn enough for a couple of gift cards. I am just afraid that I will waste a year of my life clicking ads and then when I try to redeem it will tell me I'm not eligible (kind of like that $1.00 hotel stay on Last Minute Travel last month...grrrr.)

Anybody have any luck with this?

Yes you can. They have very few cards that are good in Canada, but as long as you want them to use in the States, you're OK.

We got a Pizza Hut (U.S. only) one, and it worked just fine....

Great! Yesterday I earned 75 points...I figure if I can do that everyday for the next 10 months I will have 25000 points. That would be enough for (7) $25. gift cards. That would be a good portion of our dining out budget. Using 2 at a time would pay for most of our bill at Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex, and the Olive Garden.

How are you being able to get so many points, I feel like without making purchases, I'm only getting 10-25ish a day with those short surveys. I can;t even do the long registration ones, as they say you need a US address??

Yes you can, I have done it for years...works out great!

I've been a member of Mypoints for years. It takes a long time to accumulate points (as Canadians are ineligible for so many things) but the best option I've found is to redeem for the giftcertificates.ca voucher. You can then choose one of quite a few good gift cards for Canadian retailers. I always choose the $25 Future Shop gift card.

It takes a while, but the process is easy and straight forward.

I get my points through Bzz.com. The rewards are MyPoints points now.

How many points do you need to get a gc? I keep declining on Bzz my points as I didn't think I could use them.....duh!
