Can bounceback be applied to existing reservation?

I'll be staying at CSR in a few weeks, and I'm hoping the current bounceback offer is still available. It would work perfectly for my next WDW visit in September, which I already have booked for POR & YC. But can I apply a bounceback offer to an existing reservation, or would I need to make a new reservation to get the discount and then cancel my existing reservation?

I made my 2014 reservation in October 2013 and when I went to Disney in Dec 2013 I was able to get the bounceback offer. Now having said that, I have a TA so whether she just applied it or had to do a new ressie I am not sure cause I didn't ask. But you should be able to do it.

I had a reservation booked for August 2014 at the AOA Nemo suites (2 of them) because I know the Nemo suites seem to be booked up the quickest and that is what we really wanted (although we would have switched to Lion King if we really had to in order to get the FD). Then when I went to Poly last November, I was able to call and have my reservation modified to get the FD bounceback applied. So I'm pretty sure you'll be able to just modify your reservation for September.
