We are about to close on a resale contract and with the paperwork there is a form to provide Disney with the information to set up our account. Should I provide them with both my and my husband’s contact info and e-mails associated with our existing My Disney Experience accounts? Or is it better only to have one e-mail and set of phone numbers? FWIW, deed will be in both our names. I typically manage our vacation plans, but my husband does have his own My Disney Experience account.

All of the people named as owners can manage reservations. This is independent of whether they deal with Disney online or by phone. There are people who have never activated their logins and only deal with DVC by phone. So, if your husband is on the deed, he can call and make, modify or cancel any reservation. He can bank and borrow points and do anything an owner is allowed to do.

I would have him setup an account, this lets both people look at the RAT and other aspects of your contract, ie dues, membership numbers. You never know if you need to book a tough to get reservations and weren't near a computer, he could book it for you.

I would definitely supply his information and have him set up an account. It only takes a couple minutes on the phone once you receive your info from Disney.

give them both. you will get two account numbers xxxxxx.0 and xxxxxx.1

one for each name on the deed. each has a separate log in, but once logged in...all the info is the same. either could add a new or modify an existing reservation.
