We love Beaches and Cream but wonder how we keep suffering through horrible meal after horrible meal. Many people hate the food, but we like it, especially the Ice Cream. The problem is the worst service on property.
We were there two weeks ago and the place was 75% capacity and the table next to us waited 20 minutes for Ice Cream only. Two other tables just got up and left after a very long wait. The servers there have to be feed up with the bad tips because the service is so bad.
This sums us our service on our last visit.
Sat without menus. Got nasty looks when we asked for some.
There was no napkin/Ketchup holder on our table.
Food was brought to the table without utensils. Asked the server for ketchup and napkins and forks. Finally just got up to get it ourselves after 5 mins. Then she finally comes over to the table to see we helped ourselvs.
The manager is just wandering around like there is nothing wrong. The servers are all complaining to one another and the customers are all grumbling at their tables. We love this place and are hoping that they can get their act together. But after all this time, it is looking doubtful.
Some would blame the problem with the place being too small. Just take half of the arcade and expand. There were a bunch of broken games in there anyway.
What a shame because this can be a great place to eat.
