My 11 year old daughter has a cluster of 6 warts on her hand near the knuckles, some small, some large. I asked her Dr to freeze them off but she said there were too many too close together and to try putting apple cider vinegar on them. Last night I covered apple cider vinegar soaked cotton balls with band aids before she went to bed. Today she complained of burning and throbbing but the 3 of the warts have changed color- 1 green, 2 black. It's nasty and I don't have the stomach to cut or file them off. Does anyone have experience with successful wart removal off of hands?

It sounds like it's working! Makes since with the acidity in vinegar.

My mother used to use castor oil. My little brother had a wart growing under his fingernail and she'd apply it after he was asleep (so not "power of the mind" thing going on). It disappeared.

For a wart on the bottom of my foot, my doctor advised using duct tape (really!) It worked as well. :confused3

I think the apple cider vinegar will work, but it will take a week or two for them to die and fall off on their own. The color changing is a sign that they are dying. I personally wouldn't cut anything, just wait For it.to happen.

My dd had a huge plantar wart that I took care of with oregano oil. After about a week it fell right off (looked like a craisin). It was amazing and there was no pain involved. I got a bottle of soft caps from amazon, and just broke open the capsule. I will never be without oregano oil!

I'll never look at craisins the same again....

Yes, it works, but be careful with vinegar. The acidity can burn/raw the skin/tissue surrounding the wart.

It did work for my son. However, it came back even larger, so we had the doctor remove it.
