Can AP holders buy tickets at a discount?

We have a quick surprise trip happening and I was wondering if it was possible for an AP holder like myself to get a discount on a 1 day pass for a friend of mine. I'm guessing not, but I figure someone here will know.
And what would be the best way to get a 1 day pass if my idea is a big loser?

There aren't any discounts on tickets for AP holders.

The only discounts I've ever heard of for one-day tickets are for military, teachers, government employees, and southern California university students. If you don't qualify in one of these ways, then you may as well just buy your ticket online direct from Disney so you won't have to bother with the ticket booths at least.
