We are trying to book airfare for Dec. 29 for a trip to San Antonio, TX on SWA using our Rapid Rewards credit. There are no RR seats available to San Antonio. When we check into some of the surrounding airports like Midland, Harlingen, Corpus Chrisit it tells us there are no incoming flights from Columbus, OH to these locations due to a scheduling change. Anyone know what this is about?

Have you tried Austin-Bergstrom? It's probably less than an hour from SAT airport.
Good luck! :thumbsup2

Definitely try Austin (Airport code AUS). Midland is about a 6 hour drive from San Antonio, so I don't think you want to fly there.

Southwest dropped a number of flights from its schedule for this winter and IIRC Columbus was one of the airports hardest hit. As of last week when the opened their schedule a number of those flights were added back starting in mid March.

Thanks Jestocost.
I had checked everything within a 7 hour drive of San Antonio. Obviously Austin was closest. But, several of the airports were saying no schedule available. At least now I know why.

It is also kind of late to try to use a RR credit. Allocations for the Sunday between Christmas and New Years probably got eaten up quickly after the schedule came out.
