For a 1 bed at BCV ?...value season and high season....just curious..:)

Is there any chance of NOT paying rack rate for a June cash reservation?

I tried the AAA rate (10% off during summer season), and was told that it was not available. I am not a DVC owner, so I can't go that route, although I should buy some points so I can get that 25% discount.

Is it too close to June to get a discounted cash room, or too busy in the season for Disney to be offering discounts? I have a BCV 2BR ressie which at rack rates is a heavy load.

Thanks for whatever advice you can offer. We've tried renting points, but have been unsuccessful because we're inside the 60 day window and nothing's available.

Hi- I can't answer your question about paying cash and whether any discounts will come up- but I just wanted to make sure that you know that even if you have points you are not guaranteed the 25% discount. The discount is often but not always available. It depends on how other DVC members are using/exchanging their points so availibilty is constantly changing. Good luck- I hope you get what you are looking for!

We are staying at AKL 7/31 and 8/1 on a cash ressie and I called to see if the 25% discount was available for a studio any view. It was not, so I asked them to check all of the DVC resorts, no discount.

So, even the DVC owners are having a hard time finding discounts on cash reservations. :confused3 I guess we're all in the same "rack rate" boat that is called Disney.

Tom
