This is the only room available at the contemporary for one of the weeks we're considering. My husband told me to find out more about it. He was especially interested when he heard it may include cocktails? :) Either way, it must not be great if it's the last room available - it IS expensive, and it says parking lot or obstructed views!? Is this type of room a bad choice?

ETA: We were initially going to go with a VALUE resort. Not sure what got into DH. I'm running with this though.

have stayed in garden wing - but never the suites.

the garden wing is fine - now not sure where this is - though the rooms were down the halls - so no one would ever get a parking lot view - so just not sure.

boy should always check a map - anyway there are definitely rooms along the parking lot.

look at other sites - looks like it sleeps 7 - 5 in the 1-bedroom (regular hotel room) and 2 in the living area (queen sleeper sofa)

here is some information from this site

As much as we all have been frustrated with disney new site, it does have great pictures of rooms now. Go into to price contemporary where room options listed it says VIEW PHOTOS in blue letters. If you look at map you can see where rooms are. Some rooms face pool and some face parking lot side. I have seen mixed answers if CL privileges are included. The new site shows it however under "rooms with CL service" so I would call and confirm.

We stayed in a hospitality suite in he garden wing in 2010. It was a free upgrade, so I don't know the price. Our stay did not include concierge lounge snacks AFAIK, but it mght have if we had booked the suite originally. We were the first room in he wing coming from the tower on the pool side so we had pool view. If there are suites on opposite side of hallway they would have paring lot view. The bedroom was identical to a standard cr room. But here were 2 1/2 extra bathrooms which were wonderful to use when everyone tried to get ready at the same time. Also their was a kitchen with a full size fridge/ freezer which was heavenly. Also lots of space for storage. If you have other questions I would be glad to answer.

There is only one bedroom, correct? With two beds? And then a sleeper sofa?
