My flight is going to be on a 757. I am sure someone on this board can tell me about the space, etc. on a plane like this. Anyone?

I fly on Boeing 757's all the time! They are large jets, that seat around 180 people. I've flown both first class (very comfortable!) and coach on them. First class has 2-2 seating, coach has 3-3 seating. They are very comfortable aircraft, and a lot of airlines use them for medium-haul flights (like east to west coast, or high traffic flights).

:) Love the 757!

The 757, a narrow body, is similar in diameter, seat and aisle width as the 727 and 737 as they all share the same cabin diameter. So, as California Dreaming mentioned the seats are set up as 3-3 unless you are in first... The 757 is longer than both the 727 and 737 series, however.

There are 2 different types of 757 a series 200 and series 300. The main difference is the size of the plane, with the series 300 being larger. The Pitch, the distance between seats varies based on the carrier. The planes have 2 engines, one mounted on each wing. It is a very nice riding plane and has an excellent safety record. Here is a link to Boeing's web page for the 757...

We often fly them to/from Orlando, they are very comfortable. What I like is they load/unload the plane through the second door, which is behind first class, so you don't have to walk all the way from the front to get on/off. They also have a restroom behind first class and another two about 2/3 back (USAir, I don't know if other airlines use different configurations).

I've flown on 757s a few times. When I was travelling for business a lot, the one thing I liked about them is that the 757 has 6 rows of first class seating compared to up to 4 rows in other planes, so I had a good chance of using my upgrades.
