Ugh! With the move coming up so soon (and possibly not closing until Friday rather than Thursday,) I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo stressed! Can I collect some hugs if you have any to spare? Thanks!!

The packers are coming tomorrow. :earseek: Think I thought to ask what time they'll be here? NO! :faint:

Oh Sandy! Moving can be such a stressful time... I'm sending you good thoughts and wishes that you have a safe trip to your new home! Hugs to Richard, too--I'm sure he's feeling a lot of different emotions right now... I'm wishing you all the luck in the world during this exciting new time in your life!

Thank you!! My realtor called before. They might not be able to close on Thursday. :earseek: :earseek: Don't tell me that! What am I more comfortable with if it doesn't fly. Friday or Monday? Throws my moving company into a tizzy! Can they get another truck on a certain day? Makes the agent look bad in the company's eyes. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! If closing is Monday, they load the prior Friday. :earseek: They get a 3 day jump on traveling! :earseek: :earseek: They suggest load Monday and close Tuesday. :faint: I'm dying to leave at this point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :faint: So I leave message to shoot for Friday and keep the packers scheduled for tomorrow. :faint: Wow! I've never had problems like this before. My realtor says it's common. :faint: Well, I'm now glad that the first home I bought was a repo and the second went extremely smooth. Let's add to the stress level! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Sandy - for the past few days I've noticed in your posts that moving day was FAST approaching. Isn't it almost impossible to try to juggle it all and get everything to mesh.

I got a contract on my house a week or so before 9/11. I wasn't sure that the buyers were going to go through with the sale for one thing. Then I was TOTALLY panicked over getting a mover to show up on the appropriate day. Two weeks before my move I did not have a commitment from a mover.

Meanwhile I was trying to pack like crazy so they wouldn't have so much to pack ($$ saved). I missed going through one corner of my garage because I thought they were going to pack one day and load the next. They did it all in one day.

Anyway at the other end when I was unpacking the stuff that had been in that corner I found a dead <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_3_169.gif' border=0></a> !!!!! I guess I moved it from one end of the country to the other.

Anyway it all worked out and I'm sure that yours will too. Give that cute son of yours an extra hug or two - that will make you feel better.
