Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant that won't break the bank?

Hiii, :).

My boyfriend and I are leaving for Disney very soon, and I just wanted to know if there was any decent restaurants in Disney that won't need reservations, or else one that I can still make a reservation for?

I know I'm asking a lot, and I wanted to book one four months ago but my boyfriend is so picky that I didn't know where to book, or what time, etc.

I was thinking of going to big river grille, but I've read that it's hit or miss, and I don't really want our 'nice' dinner out to be a bad experience you know? (While we're on the subject of that though, how 'nice' is big river anyways?)

So what do you say, am I out of luck, or is there anywhere nice someone could recommend that I may still be able to get into? I'm not too picky for an eating time, in fact I'd much rather eat somewhere very late at night (like after the fireworks if that's possible?) or else before normal dinner time, say 3or 4 o'clock.

Any input is appreciated, :).

I would reccommend Wolfgang Puck Cafe at Downtown Disney Westside. The food is absolutely wonderful! There are adventurous options and those for the picky. They even serve delicious pizzas. Also, if you go during lunch hours the cost is significantly less. Here are the lunch and dinner menus...

Raglan Road (also at the Westside) is also very nice and offers meat & potatoes meals along with more adventurous options.

For basic food (sandwiches/salads/yummy sundaes) we love the Plaza at the Magic Kingdom.

Have a great trip!

if you want a good "date" with your sweetie..try the hoop de doo..its a meal and a show

if you need cheap and lots of food, try trails end restaurant over at wilderness area

It isnt too late. I have found places to eat and my trip is just 3 weeks away

Thanks so much for those suggestions, :). Raglan road had crossed my mind before, but again I didn't know if the boyfriend would like it  . I'll check out the menu's and then if he likes the looks of it maybe I'll try and call, :).

Any more suggestions are appreciated, :).
